  • What is the purpose of the Guam Sex Offender Registry?

    The Registry helps ensure community safety by monitoring convicted sex offenders, preventing further victimization, deterring repeat offenses, and assisting law enforcement agencies in investigations.

  • Who is required to register?

    Individuals convicted of sexually violent offenses, criminal sexual conduct offenses, or crimes against minors in Guam, federal, military, or other jurisdictions are required to register under Chapter 89, Title 9 GCA.

  • How long must an offender remain registered?

    Level 1 and Level 2 offenders must register for life. Level 3 offenders must register for 15 years. Reporting frequency depends on classification.

  • How often must registration information be updated?

    Offenders must verify and update their information every 90 days, 180 days, or annually depending on their level. Any change must be reported within three (3) working days.

What is the Guam Sex Offender Registry (SOR)?

The Sex Offender Registry is a site for keeping track of convicted sex offenders and classifying each offender so that the public may receive information about dangerous sex offenders who live or work in each community. The goal of the Sex Offender Registry is to educate the public and to prevent further victimization.
